The firm’s roots trace back to Fred Hallam, a former Mayor of the City of Greater Cessnock and a solicitor who also served as a navigator in the RAAF during the Second World War. Building on this legacy, Fred’s daughter Kristine Hallam Littlewood and son Ken Hallam joined the legal and conveyancing profession, collaborating with Kristine’s husband, Robert Littlewood, to establish Hallam & Littlewood in 1980.
