About Robert William
Robert William Littlewood was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court in 1980, following the completion of his Articles of Clerkship. Demonstrating academic excellence, he was among the top four students in the State for Practice and Court Procedure in his year. Robert has developed extensive experience across a broad range of legal areas including Conveyancing, Family Law, Business Transactions such as sale and purchase, Private Companies, Partnerships, Leasing, and Liquor Licensing. His background as a Registered Tax Agent, a role he held from 1980 until 2013, enhances his ability to integrate taxation law considerations into the legal matters he handles. Earlier in his career, Robert provided support to clients in Criminal Law, with notable proficiency in court advocacy and procedure. He also practised in Civil claims related to Motor Accidents and Workers Compensation, as well as Industrial Liability Employment Law, covering areas such as Unfair Dismissal and Enterprise Agreements. While these areas are no longer part of the firm’s active practice, Robert remains connected to them and can facilitate referrals when required. In addition to his legal work, Robert owns and manages Deepsprings, a Murray Grey Beef Cattle property. His involvement in farming gives him practical insight into issues important to the rural community, enriching his understanding of the challenges faced by clients in agricultural sectors.
