Jessica Bethel

Jessica Bethel is an experienced Family Lawyer at Ruhl Family Law Centre, where she is committed to offering clear, compassionate, and practical legal advice. Her focus is on supporting clients through the complexities of separation and family transitions. Jessica's approach is characterised by her ability to provide stability and understanding during challenging times, grounded in her straightforward and comprehensible delivery of legal advice. Jessica's legal journey began after graduating from a local boarding school, followed by her completion of a Bachelor of Laws at James Cook University. She further honed her legal expertise by obtaining a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law in 2023. While managing her studies and family, she initially gained valuable experience in property law, commercial law, and wills and estates at a local firm. Her passion for impactful work in family law led her to transition to Ruhl Family Law Centre in November 2023. Outside her professional life, Jessica is a bush kid at heart, enjoying time with her family and engaging in outdoor activities like horse riding. She also cherishes moments with her chickens and dogs, alongside appreciating good music and North Queensland sunshine. Jessica's qualifications include being an admitted Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. She is an active member of the Queensland Law Society, Townsville District Law Association, where she serves on the committee, and the North Queensland Law Association.
