Bernie McGowan

Bernie McGowan began his legal career with Cranston McEachern in 1982 as an Articled Clerk, was admitted as a solicitor in 1984, and became a partner in 1986. With extensive experience in commercial and contract law, Bernie provides guidance on matters including leases, licensing requirements, joint ventures, and intellectual property. He leads the firm’s commercial and business law departments, overseeing client matters in these areas. Bernie maintains a strong commitment to the not-for-profit sector, serving as honorary solicitor for community groups such as Kidsafe, PACT, and the Ethnic Community Council of Queensland Limited. He also holds directorship roles with several not-for-profit organisations.
