Bona Fide Law Services is a family-owned legal firm located in Bunbury, in the South West region of Western Australia. We are dedicated to providing professional, genuine, and understandable legal services, specialising in Family Law, Criminal Law, and Restraining Orders. Our firm is led by our Principal Solicitor, Twistie Venning, who brings a unique and diverse background to his legal practice. Twistie is admitted to practice in both the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia, and his career is marked by a deep commitment to advocacy and helping clients navigate complex legal issues. His past experiences across various sectors, including service with the Australian Defence Force and roles in Emergency Services and Health and Safety in the mining and construction industries, have honed his ability to communicate effectively and empathetically. After completing a Bachelor of Laws with 1st Class Honours while working full time, Twistie furthered his expertise with a Master of Legal Practice with Merit. He began his legal career in 2016, working in private practice and with the Legal Aid Commission of WA, before founding Bona Fide Law Services. Twistie’s approach is deeply rooted in the principles of honesty, integrity, courage, and respect. Our firm is proud to be members of the Law Society of WA, the South West Law Society, and the Criminal Lawyers Association of WA. Additionally, we engage with the local business community through our membership with the Bunbury Geographe Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
