Zena's educational journey saw her graduate from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws in 1999. Her career encompasses diverse legal environments, having worked in various law firms before leading a legal team within a heavy engineering company. There, she managed legal matters related to contracts, property, intellectual property, and more, working on major national and international projects including recycling and desalination plants. In 2012, Zena founded ZDB Legal Services, applying her extensive public, private, and in-house counsel experience to benefit her clients. Her practice covers areas such as residential, commercial, and industrial property law, employment law, family law, and contract negotiation across sectors like construction and pharmaceuticals. Beyond her professional endeavours, Zena is devoted to community service. She actively participates in not-for-profit teaching at secondary schools and mentors aspiring solicitors.
