Watson McNamara & Watt has been a pillar of legal expertise in Armidale and the New England region since its inception in 1970. The firm originated with Bill Watson as W Watson, Solicitor, and grew with the partnership of Joe McNamara, becoming Watson & McNamara in the early 1970s. The addition of Rod Watt in 1979 further expanded their capabilities and resulted in the current name, Watson McNamara & Watt. Leadership has continued to evolve, with Erin Luckie becoming a principal solicitor in 2021, and Shannon Nauschutz joining as a partner in 2025.
