Jessica Ward, a dedicated partner at the firm, brings a unique blend of educational and legal expertise to her practice. With a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Laws, Jessica transitioned from a career in primary education to the legal field, enriching her approach with strong communication skills. A lifelong resident of Bairnsdale, she is deeply rooted in the community she serves. Before joining the firm in 2019 and becoming a partner in 2022, Jessica honed her legal expertise with Victoria Legal Aid, where she specialised in family law and frequently appeared in the Magistrates’ Court in Bairnsdale, Sale, and Latrobe Valley. Her work focused on assisting clients with Family Violence Intervention Orders, a testament to her commitment to advocating for the vulnerable. At the firm, Jessica assists clients across a diverse array of legal matters, including wills and powers of attorney, estates and estate litigation, criminal law, and family law. Her approach is informed by her active engagement with the Bairnsdale community, where she participates in local sporting teams, serves as a board member for St Mary's Primary School, and contributes to various local committees.
