Rachel Porter is a seasoned criminal lawyer with extensive experience in Western Australia's Children’s, Magistrates, District, and Supreme Courts. Known for her adept handling of bail, sentencing, and trial hearings, Rachel also has a strong track record in briefing senior legal counsel on complex criminal offences. Her capabilities extend to managing restraining order cases with skillful negotiation. Before her current practice, Rachel honed her legal acumen by clerking for prominent criminal defence barristers, an experience that included volunteering at the Mental Health Law Centre.
