Peter McCartney

Peter McCartney has been a dedicated member of the legal profession since 2002, following his completion of Bachelor degrees in law and business (Accounting) at Griffith University. During his studies, he gained practical experience in the legal industry, laying a strong foundation for his career. Peter began his professional journey as an articled clerk at Spranklin Solicitors under the mentorship of Patrick Spranklin in 2003. His commitment and aptitude saw him progress quickly, and by June 2005, he was taking on a management role coinciding with his admission as a solicitor in Queensland. In 2008, under Peter's astute leadership, the firm transitioned to Spranklin McCartney Lawyers, reflecting his significant impact and vision for its future. As Legal Practice Director, Peter is driven by a results-oriented approach, adeptly tackling complex legal challenges while also addressing the everyday needs of both individuals and businesses. His career is marked by a blend of strategic insight and a client-centred focus. Beyond his legal practice, Peter served as Treasurer for Business Network International from 2008 to 2017, contributing to the business community's growth. In his personal time, he enjoys the company of his wife and daughter and has a passion for cars, motorcycles, music, and outdoor activities like camping and hiking.
