Robert Sceales

Robert Sceales is the Principal of Sceales Lawyers, where he brings his extensive legal expertise and deep commitment to client service. Commencing his legal career in South Africa in 1971, Robert has developed a profound understanding of taxation and commercial law. After relocating to Perth in 1986 and gaining valuable experience at a large law firm, he founded Sceales & Company in 1994, now known as Sceales Lawyers. His vision was to create a boutique legal practice offering personalised advice, allowing him to work closely with clients to ensure optimal outcomes. Robert specialises in Commonwealth and State taxation matters, and his designation as a Chartered Tax Adviser underscores his authority in the field. Celebrating over 32 years of providing exceptional legal services, his firm continues to uphold the highest standards of client care. Beyond his practice, Robert actively contributes to the legal community through his involvement with the Taxation Institute, the Law Society of Western Australia, and the Law Council of Australia. Educated at the University of Stellenbosch and the University of the Witwatersrand, Robert holds a Bachelor of Laws, alongside advanced degrees in commerce, income tax, and corporation law.
