About Emma

Emma Daniels serves as a director at PWB Lawyers and brings over 25 years of dedicated experience in family law. Recognising the stress involved in the breakdown of relationships, Emma is committed to guiding her clients through the resolution process with empathy and expertise, ensuring they are well-represented and informed. She assists clients in determining whether their objectives are best met through court proceedings or alternative dispute resolution methods. Emma has been consistently acknowledged by the Doyle Guide to the Australian Legal Market since 2014 as a recommended family lawyer. Emma began her legal journey at PWB in 1999, driven by her passion for matters involving children. Her career took her to London in 2002, where she honed her skills in child protection law. Returning to Hobart in 2005, she continued to focus on family law before rejoining PWB in 2008, becoming a Principal the following year. Emma regularly appears in the Family Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia. She also serves as a representative for children in child protection cases in the Magistrates Court. Emma's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tasmania, completed in 1998.
