Marinos Arapis

Marinos Arapis serves as the Principal Lawyer of Plato Legal, bringing over ten years of experience in dispute resolution. With a focus on civil and family law matters, he is recognised for his empathetic and client-centred approach. Marinos is dedicated to pursuing justice and is committed to securing fair and practical outcomes for his clients. His career began with general commercial practice at Dandanis & Associates, where he developed expertise in retail leasing, building disputes, litigation, debt recovery, and family law, particularly matrimonial property. At Reale Lawyers, Marinos concentrated on family law with an emphasis on children's matters. His legal journey includes leading roles at Plato Legal and MVAA Legal, where he has managed family law, general litigation, debt recovery, and motor vehicle property damage recovery cases. Apart from his legal practice, Marinos is passionate about combat sports and is an active Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and a Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Leo Cussen Institute.
