Nicholas Moss

Nicholas Moss is the Principal Lawyer at NRM Litigation Lawyers, a firm he established in 2021 after gaining extensive experience in Melbourne's legal scene. Prior to founding his own practice, Nick spent nearly a decade as a Senior Associate at two prominent law firms, where he worked within the litigation and construction teams. Nick brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in commercial litigation and dispute resolution. His practice areas include building and construction law, business law with a focus on commercial contracts, and both commercial and residential tenancies. Additionally, he is well-versed in consumer and competition law. Alongside his legal practice, Nick engages in writing about Australian law and various other topics, showcasing his ability to communicate complex legal concepts in an accessible manner. Earlier in his career, he served as a Media and Policy Adviser to Senator John Madigan, where he played a critical role in media management, legislative review, and policy advocacy. His contributions were pivotal during a Joint Committee inquiry into Australia's electoral finance laws. Prior to this, as a Senior Associate at KCL Law and Macpherson Kelley, Nick advised builders, developers, and subcontractors on disputes and transactional matters. Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts with a psychology major and a Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University. He has also pursued a Master’s degree in International Relations at the University of Melbourne, having completed a significant portion of the programme with commendable academic performance.
