Neisha Shepherd is a distinguished Solicitor Director at NLS Law, where she leads with a deep commitment to Family Law, Children's Law, and criminal justice. As the Founder and Legal Director, she has dedicated her career to effecting change through outstanding legal advocacy and systemic reform. Her work has been pivotal in shaping policy and legislation, making her a key figure in Australian law. Neisha's career is marked by involvement in landmark cases, including MRR v GR (2010) and DN v Secretary, Department of Communities and Justice (2023), which underscore her commitment to society's vulnerable. Her expertise extends to complex family law matters, such as parenting disputes and international relocations, as well as Care and Protection law, where she ensures the rights of children and parents are upheld. In criminal law, Neisha brings an analytical approach to defending clients, complemented by her roles as an Accredited Mediator, Arbitrator, and Independent Children’s Lawyer.
