Laszlo Konya is the head of commercial and corporate at NDL and a co-founder of the firm. With over a decade of experience in commercial, corporate, and tax law, Laszlo is committed to delivering practical and effective legal solutions to a diverse clientele. His extensive expertise spans mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and contract negotiations, and areas such as business structuring, restructuring, and succession planning. He is adept in handling loans and securities, drafting agreements like shareholders' and joint venture agreements, and advising on corporate governance and compliance with disclosure requirements. Laszlo provides strategic advice on tax matters, including Capital Gains Tax, Goods and Services Tax, and international taxation issues impacting Australian businesses. His experience extends to representing clients in ATO and SRO investigations, and he plays a pivotal role in commercial dispute resolution, including issues relating to contracts and shareholder disputes. Holding a combined Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in European Studies from Monash University, Laszlo is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Tax Institute of Australia. Before co-founding NDL, he honed his skills at Pointon Partners, progressing from a lawyer to a partner. His extensive background ensures clients receive insightful and effective legal representation.
