Gus Catalogna leads the litigation team at Nine Dots Legal (NDL) with nearly three decades of experience in litigation matters. Renowned for his focus and dedication, Gus ensures high-quality service delivery, meticulously advising clients to secure optimal outcomes through mediation or legal proceedings. He represents a diverse range of clients, including organisations and individuals, in matters such as shareholder disputes, property conflicts, trust and partnership issues, corporate and personal insolvency, construction disputes, complex business disagreements, and oppression proceedings. His notable work includes representing a multinational German company against BHP in a challenging Supreme Court case involving high-density polyethylene lining material for 44 uranium tanks. He has also appeared in the Federal Court, representing clients against the ASX and in intricate damages claims in the Supreme Court. Gus's professional journey began as an Articled Clerk and Junior Lawyer at Septimus Jones & Lee Solicitors in Melbourne, moving on to become a Senior Associate at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers. He later served as a Partner at both Anderson Rice Lawyers and Angus Legal, followed by a role as Special Counsel at Dorsia Legal. Before his current position, he was the General Counsel at Brandi Inc. His extensive experience and strategic approach make him a trusted advisor in complex legal matters.
