Norman Abrams, a partner in our Melbourne office, brings over 30 years of legal expertise to the table. Throughout his career, he has distinguished himself in acting for all levels of government in both Federal and State Tribunals, extending his practice to corporate entities as well. With a special emphasis on regulatory compliance and administrative law, Norman adeptly provides advice and defends litigation, particularly those involving government matters. He displays a strategic and pragmatic approach, always mindful of the intricacies of the public sector environment. A significant portion of his practice is dedicated to workplace health and safety (WHS/OHS), where he acts for Commonwealth and State departments, local government councils, and various corporate clients. Norman not only addresses immediate legal concerns but also works proactively with clients to forestall potential regulatory challenges. Norman's involvement extends beyond traditional legal counsel; he is a member of the Commonwealth Compensation and Employment committee at the Law Council of Australia.
