Celine Xia is the Founder and Principal Lawyer of Ming Dao Law, an innovative firm delivering tailored legal services to businesses navigating a complex regulatory environment. As an accomplished Australian-qualified lawyer, Celine has extensive experience in financial services regulation, corporate structuring, and virtual assets. She has advised an array of clients, including fintech startups and Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs), on matters such as mergers and acquisitions, ASIC licensing applications, compliance with AML/CTF laws, and strategic regulatory planning. Before founding Ming Dao Law, Celine honed her skills at prominent law firms, Clyde & Co and Gadens, where she supported clients in addressing intricate licensing and compliance challenges. Her multilingual capabilities in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese enhance her capacity to serve cross-border clients effectively. Celine is esteemed for her strategic commercial acumen, clarity, and promptness, integrating technical precision with a profound grasp of industry practices and regulatory standards. Ming Dao Law embodies her vision of empowering businesses to innovate and manage risk confidently. Celine holds a Juris Doctor with Honours from Bond University, where she also obtained her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Previously, she earned a Master of Professional Accounting and an MBA with Distinction from James Cook University. Admitted to practise in Queensland and the High Court of Australia, she is also a member of the Queensland Law Society. Her career includes a role as Company Secretary for Key Petroleum Limited, where she advises on corporate governance and ASX compliance, and notable experience as a Contract Administrator and Supply Chain Manager, enriching her understanding of commercial operations.
