Vanessa De Pretis serves as the Immigration Manager at Migration Solutions, leading the Family and AAT team with a focus on family visas and the migration appeal process. As a registered Migration Agent, she expertly manages client cases, supporting their journeys to Australia. Vanessa finds it particularly rewarding when she and her team secure successful outcomes, often for clients who are on their last chance to make their dream of living in Australia a reality. Since starting work in the migration industry in 2010, Vanessa has continually broadened her expertise, consulting on various family-based visas, including Partner, Parent, and Carer visas. Her qualifications in international studies enable her to relate to a diverse range of clients, adeptly addressing complexities and challenges. Vanessa leads in preparing cases for the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and Ministerial Intervention requests, demonstrating her proficiency in navigating complex legal landscapes. Her personal drive for independence and success permeates her team, establishing a robust support network within the community. She is actively involved in pro bono efforts with organisations such as the Cancer Council, Gay and Lesbian Immigration Taskforce, and JusticeNet.
