Emma Turner

Emma Turner, Principal of Dixie Ann Middleton & Associates, brings nearly two decades of legal expertise to her practice. Joining the firm in January 2006, Emma progressed through the ranks to become Principal in October 2015. She expertly navigates all facets of family law, with particular proficiency in high-stakes property cases, superannuation splitting, and intricate parenting issues. Emma began her legal career in Central Queensland, gaining comprehensive knowledge in family law, child support, spousal maintenance, and de facto property matters. Her diverse clientele ranges from rural and urban to international, reflecting her adaptable approach. Accredited as a Family Law Specialist since 2007, Emma holds a Certificate in Mediation and served on the panel of Independent Children's Lawyers from 2008 to 2012. Her contributions extend to Brisbane publications like Brisbane Circle and Style Magazine, and she has engaged audiences on local station 4BC and ABC's programme with Madonna King. Deeply committed to community service, Emma's roles have included President of Rotaract Rockhampton, Treasurer at the Central Queensland Community Legal Centre, and leadership roles in the Zonta Brisbane Metro Breakfast Club and the South East Brisbane Chamber of Commerce.
