Vivian Michael

Vivian Michael is the founder of Michael Law Group, established in 2014 with the vision of making business and employment legal services straightforward and accessible to entrepreneurs across Australia and those overseas with Australian business interests. Situated in the picturesque Double Bay, NSW, Vivian and her team provide flexible client services both online and in person. Vivian's extensive legal experience includes her role as Managing Director at Michael Law Group where she has helped clients effectively launch, scale, and exit their businesses. Her commitment to practical legal education is evident as a sessional academic at Macquarie University, where she has contributed to the understanding of business organisations and corporate governance and oversees units in conveyancing. Before founding her firm, Vivian honed her legal acumen as a Legal Editor for Wolters Kluwer, where she has been responsible for providing insightful analysis and commentary on key legal developments. Her leadership skills were further demonstrated during her tenure as Chair of the NSW Young Lawyers Business Law Committee, a collaborative platform focused on advancing the comprehension of corporate and commercial law. Vivian's background as a Senior Finance Analyst has enriched her understanding of financial management, especially concerning balance sheet and profit and loss management across various financial portfolios, thus offering a unique advantage to her legal practice. Her academic achievements include a Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University and completion of her Practical Legal Training at The College of Law. As a CPA, Vivian integrates her robust accounting and legal expertise to serve her clients effectively. Vivian also actively contributes to the business community as a Board Member of the Bondi & Districts Chamber of Commerce and has shared her business acumen as a mentor with The Social Marketplace.
