Carrie Demertzis serves as Counsel with a focus on the Criminal Jurisdiction, bringing a wealth of experience in appellate advocacy and general criminal law. Admitted to practice in South Australia in 2001, Carrie has transitioned to her current role after successfully managing her own solicitor's firm for over a decade. Her firm was renowned for its dedication to Criminal Defence work, where she acted as in-house Counsel and expertly handled everything from straightforward guilty pleas to intricate jury trials and appeals. Carrie frequently appears in the Magistrates Court, District Court, and Supreme Court, demonstrating her adeptness across varying levels of the legal system.
