Maeve Doyle

Maeve Doyle is the Principal of Labour Law and a seasoned employment lawyer renowned for her adept guidance and strategic counsel to a diverse clientele, including private sector SMEs, national corporations, local councils in NSW and not-for-profit organisations. Her robust experience is underscored by a history of offering timely, straightforward commercial advice across various sectors. Maeve's career has been marked by significant roles, including her time as a Group Principal at Nexus Lawyers, where she provided comprehensive employment law advice across industries such as construction, retail, and hospitality. Her expertise was further honed as a Senior Associate at WilliamsonLegal, a firm dedicated solely to employer representation in workplace law. Earlier in her career, Maeve served as a solicitor with WorkCover NSW (now SafeWork NSW), where she prosecuted companies for breaches of work health and safety legislation. Before transitioning to law, Maeve led consultancy teams at the NSW Department of Education and Training, spearheading key initiatives like Change Management and Leadership for Principals, as well as Anti-Racism and Anti-Bullying training. This background enriches her approach to legal challenges, allowing her to address clients' needs with practicality and collaboration. With memberships including the NSW Law Society Employment Law Advisory Committee, Maeve continues to stay at the forefront of her field.
