With foundational studies in Maths and Economics in Ireland transferred to a degree in Psychology, Edwina possesses a rare blend of skills enabling her to approach legal challenges from multifaceted perspectives. Since moving to Australia in 2012, she has dedicated herself to the migration sector, driven by personal experiences that underscored its profound impact. Her career began a decade ago, focusing on skills assessment in construction, engineering, mining, and trades. This laid the groundwork for her deep understanding and expertise in skilled, employer-nominated, and business visas. Edwina’s organisational acumen flourished as a Case Manager, where she adeptly handled a substantial caseload, honing her strategic approach to diverse visa matters. Edwina’s journey has not been without challenges. After completing her postgraduate studies in Australian Migration Law at the Australian National University, she faced an unexpected hurdle when her own permanent residency was refused. Undeterred, this motivated her to excel further in the migration industry, joining a Specialist Immigration Law firm where she thrived in tackling complex cases and devising innovative strategies. In 2018, Edwina founded King Corporate Migration, driven by her vision to assist those in situations similar to her own and support companies in acquiring overseas talent. Her commitment to specialising in her niche area has earned her recognition and respect from peers and clients. After completing her Australian law degree and practical legal training, she was honoured in 2024 for her achievements in corporate and commercial law, leveraging her legal knowledge to enhance contract law services for corporate clients. With over a decade of experience, Edwina has assembled a competent team, emphasising ongoing training and sharing her extensive technical knowledge.
