Since his admission to practice in 2014, James has honed his skills in various legal environments. He initially gained experience in general practice before moving to a boutique firm specializing in building and construction law. In 2018, James joined the litigation team at Kennedy Guy, where he currently serves as Principal Solicitor. His practice encompasses commercial and civil litigation, with a strong emphasis on building and construction disputes, debt recovery, bankruptcy, and insolvency matters. James's extensive court experience includes appearances in the VCAT, AAT, Magistrates Courts of Victoria, County Court of Victoria, and the Supreme Courts of Victoria, Tasmania, and NSW, among others. He has advised on the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act in both Victoria and Tasmania and has been actively involved in town planning appeals and objections.
