Chelsea Waters is a dedicated solicitor committed to providing exceptional legal representation within the realm of criminal law. Her journey with Guest Lawyers began in early 2018 when she completed her Practical Legal Training. Chelsea quickly progressed from a Law Clerk to being admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland in October 2018. With a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Queensland University of Technology, Chelsea has honed her expertise in handling complex criminal cases. Her experience with Guest Lawyers has equipped her with the necessary skills to represent clients charged with serious offences, including Murder, Drug Trafficking, Serious Sex Offences, Assaults, Stealing, Fraud, and Traffic offences. She is proficient in appearing before the Magistrates, District, and Supreme Courts on a daily basis, and has also handled appellate matters in both the Court of Appeal and District Court. In 2019, Chelsea expanded her capabilities by completing the Youth Practitioner Certification, allowing her to effectively represent young offenders in the Childrens Court.
