Erin McDonald

Erin McDonald is a dedicated Solicitor at Groom and Lavers, where she commenced her legal journey as a paralegal in 2019. Since her admission to the Supreme Court in June 2021, Erin has applied her expertise diligently to her work. A native of Toowoomba, she pursued a Double Bachelor of Business and Laws at the University of Southern Queensland. During her time there, Erin distinguished herself as both a peer tutor and the President of the USQ Law Society. In recognition of her contributions to the legal field, Erin was honoured with the Downs and Southwest Queensland Law Association Early Career Lawyer of the Year Award in 2024. Her practice is primarily focused on property law, with particular expertise in residential and rural conveyancing. Additionally, Erin is well-versed in Wills and Estates, providing comprehensive support for clients in these areas. Beyond her professional commitments, Erin engages in community service through various committees, including the local Law Association. Her passion for supporting her community is further evidenced by her involvement in running a local youth group.
