Mitch Brown

Mitch Brown serves as the Legal Practice Director at Dundas Lawyers® Gold Coast, specialising in the management of commercial and contractual disputes, insolvency matters, body corporate disputes, and building and construction litigation. Before establishing the firm, Mitch was a partner at Reichman Lawyers on the Gold Coast and has a rich background working in various boutique, top-tier, and mid-tier law firms, concentrating on civil litigation. Prior to his legal career, Mitch contributed significantly to the Queensland Department of Education as a teacher and human resources consultant. He has also shared his expertise as a tutor in the Business School MBA program at Griffith University’s Gold Coast campus. Mitch holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts, alongside a Diploma of Teaching. He is admitted to practice in both the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia, and he maintains active membership in the Queensland Law Society and Rotary International. His legal interests encompass commercial and contractual litigation, corporate and personal insolvency, industrial relations, and building and construction disputes. Noteworthy legal achievements include successful outcomes in the Queensland Court of Appeal, Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal, and Fair Work Commission, among others. Mitch is committed to guiding corporations to focus on their main business activities, aiming for practical and early resolutions to legal disputes. He prioritises well-prepared cases to ensure the best possible outcomes when a trial is unavoidable.
