Joshua Hynes-Brown

Joshua Hynes-Brown is an Associate at DCH Legal Group, where he applies his comprehensive background in family law to effectively represent clients. Graduating with a Bachelor of Laws from Murdoch University in 2021, Joshua began his legal career at Legal Aid Western Australia. There, he worked in the Family Law Division as a paralegal and honed his skills in handling complex parenting matters, which often involved challenging issues such as allegations of abuse and cases impacted by substance dependency and mental health concerns. Since his admission to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in September 2022, Joshua has engaged in all facets of family law, showing a particular interest in property settlement cases, especially those involving intricate company and trust structures. Working closely with Director Elizabeth Hynes, he deals with both straightforward and complicated family law issues, ensuring clients receive informed and compassionate legal counsel. Joshua is an active member of the Law Society of Western Australia and the Family Law Practitioners’ Association, contributing to the community through his involvement on the CPD and social sub-committee.
