Daniel Wabnitz

Daniel Wabnitz is the Managing Partner of Daniel John Lawyers, a firm renowned for its expertise in Family and Criminal Law. After being admitted to practice in South Australia in 2002, Daniel relocated to Sydney to serve as a Judge's Associate to His Honour Judge Roy Ellis at the Parramatta District Court. This experience provided him with an in-depth understanding of criminal sentencing law, enhanced by his role in compiling books on criminal sentencing precedents and jury trial directions. Daniel's move to private practice saw him join Van Houten Law, a leading criminal law firm, where he expanded his practice into Family Law and Child Protection Law. In 2009, he returned to Adelaide to manage the Family Law practice at Townsends Solicitors. His pursuit of justice and dedication to client service culminated in the founding of Daniel John Lawyers in 2011. Possessing a strong interest in complex Family Law matters, particularly those involving child abuse allegations, Daniel has adeptly represented clients in intricate property and financial settlements. He is known for his strategic negotiation skills and pragmatic legal advice, aimed at achieving economical and sensible outcomes for his clients. Outside his professional commitments, Daniel is a classically trained pianist and an accomplished author. He is married to Jenya, and they have a son, James. A passionate soccer enthusiast, Daniel merges his love for the sport with his dedication to the law. His educational background from Temple Christian College laid a strong foundation for his illustrious legal career.
