Ian Gray serves as Special Counsel at Clover Law, where his expertise in business succession planning, exit strategy advice, and business risk management is highly regarded. With a legal career spanning over 40 years, Ian's contributions have significantly impacted the field, notably his creation of the innovative Business Insurance Trust Agreement in 1987. This pioneering structure offers a comprehensive approach to managing business, personal, and self-managed superannuation insurance needs under a singular streamlined policy, embodying the One Page, One Policy strategy. Before joining Clover Law in 2022, Ian helmed Ian Gray Solicitor, trading as Complete Succession, where he dedicated over 25 years to building solutions that meet complex legal challenges. His broad legal acumen covers commercial, banking, insolvency, taxation, intellectual property, and insurance law, underscored by his work with diverse entities including banks, financial institutions, multinational companies, and semi-governmental bodies. Admitted as a solicitor in 1981, Ian’s educational foundation was laid at Queensland University of Technology, where he obtained a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
