Jordyn Nichols

Jordyn Nichols is an Associate at City Pacific Lawyers, where she contributes her expertise to the Wills and Estates Team. She provides comprehensive assistance in estate planning, including the drafting of wills, enduring financial powers of attorney, and appointment of medical treatment decision-making documents. Jordyn is adept at estate administration, managing applications for probate and letters of administration, and handling applications involving informal wills. She is also experienced in resolving estate disputes, such as family provision claims and will challenges. With a friendly and approachable demeanour, Jordyn navigates the complexities inherent in family dynamics during difficult times. She is an active member of the Law Institute of Victoria. Outside of her legal practice, Jordyn enjoys staying active through F45 fitness training and playing netball, while also cherishing time spent with family and friends. Her extensive experience includes her role as Director and Principal Lawyer at City Pacific Lawyers, where she has been involved since 1993, working in both Brighton East and Melbourne CBD. Jordyn has a background in commercial litigation from her time with Freehills from 1991 to 1993, and earlier as an Associate Lawyer in commercial law with Day, Berry & Howard LLP in the USA. Her academic credentials include a Juris Doctor with Honours from Duke University School of Law, following a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Spanish from Florida State University.
