Robyn Chew

Robyn Chew is a dedicated partner at chew+matthews, which she co-founded in 2007 alongside Idris Matthews. She graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1992 and began her legal career at Phillips Fox in Perth. Robyn then joined Baker & McKenzie, where she notably contributed to the corporate mergers and acquisitions groups in both Sydney and London until 1998. Her journey continued at White & Case, initially in their London office before transitioning to the Singapore office. With extensive experience both domestically and internationally, Robyn is admitted to practice in Australia and in England and Wales. Her expertise lies in corporate and corporate finance transactions, including corporate private equity investments, financings, acquisitions and disposals, and joint ventures. Additionally, she provides counsel on franchising, general commercial law, and leasing matters. Robyn’s comprehensive understanding of both domestic and cross-border transactions enables her to deliver insightful and effective solutions to her clients.
