Peter Carroll

Peter Carroll is the founder and principal of Cadence Legal, bringing over 30 years of experience in both law and business to the firm. His career commenced with Mallesons Stephen Jaques, now known as King & Wood Mallesons, where he gained extensive experience in handling domestic and cross-border corporate and commercial matters. Transitioning to in-house counsel roles, Peter worked with prestigious organisations, beginning with the Swiss headquarters of ISL, a global sports marketing firm. Here, he played a key role in the commercialisation of major sporting events such as the FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championships, facilitating multi-million dollar sponsorship and licensing deals with leading brands like Coca-Cola, MasterCard, Gillette, and Sony. Upon his return to Australia, Peter joined the ASX-listed company Lion Nathan, one of Australasia's top FMCG food and beverage enterprises. He served initially as General Counsel for Lion’s Australian beer sector and subsequently for their dairy and drinks business, additionally taking on Director and Company Secretary roles. This diverse blend of legal and business acumen forms the foundation of Cadence Legal, embodying a practical, business-focused approach that sets the firm apart.
