Deborah Boardman

Deborah Boardman is a seasoned Senior Solicitor with extensive experience in property law and estate planning. Her legal journey began in 1994 in Newcastle, NSW, where she started as a receptionist and worked her way up to paralegal at large firms over 13 years. After starting her family, Deb relocated to a mid-tier firm in Tumut in the Snowy Mountains. This move enabled her to fulfil her dream of completing her law degree while gaining hands-on experience in property law and conveyancing under an accredited property specialist. Deb's work in rural areas instilled in her a deep understanding of the importance of succession planning, especially for families looking to maintain the viability of their farms while transitioning older members to suburban living. She collaborated closely with clients and their accountants to navigate tax implications and ensure smooth transitions across generations. Her expertise extends to assisting clients with varied estate planning needs, from young couples purchasing their first homes to managing complex testamentary trusts for blended families. Deb ensures that clients have peace of mind, knowing their estates will be distributed according to their wishes. She is adept in the conveyancing processes across New South Wales, Victoria, and Western Australia, and is experienced in preparing and registering loan documents and mortgages. Deb's career includes a significant tenure at Commins Hendriks Solicitors in Tumut, where she served as a solicitor for over a decade, honing her skills in estate planning and probate administration.
