Andrea Boyd-Boland

Andrea Boyd-Boland, a partner with over 25 years of legal experience, holds a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney. Andrea's career has spanned both London and prominent Sydney law firms, complemented by her Diploma of Financial Management. She is an accredited Mediator and serves on the NSW Law Society panel of Mediators. Additionally, Andrea functions as a Claims Decision Maker under the 1999 and 2017 CTP Scheme. Her extensive career includes her current role as a Consultant in the Insurance Litigation team at Sparke Helmore Lawyers, a position she has held since January 2016. Andrea also co-founded Boyd-Boland Law in December 2010, where she has offered her expertise as a Lawyer, Registered Migration Agent, and Nationally Accredited Mediator. Her previous roles include a Senior Associate/Consultant at Lee & Lyons, where she concentrated on insurance litigation, particularly in CTP and public liability, from February 2009 to December 2015. Prior to that, she sharpened her skills in insurance litigation at Griffin Hilditch and Hunt & Hunt Lawyers. Andrea's educational achievements are robust, including a Certificate of National Mediator Accreditation from the Institute of Specialist Dispute Resolution, accredited under the Australian National Mediation Standards. She also completed a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) at Kaplan Australia, where her studies focused on foundations of financial planning, risk management, investment planning, and superannuation and retirement. Her legal foundation was further solidified through her LLM from Sydney University.
