Having completed her law degree in Tasmania, Alison gained valuable experience interstate and internationally before returning home. She is drawn to litigation, with a strong interest in professional indemnity work as it allows her to engage with the detailed workings of various professions. Alison is known for her practical and strategic advice, often advising on insurance contracts to ensure clients understand their rights and obligations. Alison’s client base is diverse, including insurers, insured parties, self-insured individuals, underwriters, and brokers. She has significant experience working with clients in construction—such as architects, engineers, building surveyors, and conveyancers—as well as financial institutions including accountants, financial planners, and mortgage brokers. Additionally, she advises healthcare providers and local government entities, including councillors and officers. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science, equipping her with a broad analytical skill set to serve her clients effectively.
