Her career has spanned roles in commercial private practice, Victorian State Government departments and agencies, and in-house positions within the banking and finance sector. She served as the chairman of the board for Caulfield Park Bendigo Bank for four years and has held prestigious positions such as Past Convenor of Victorian Women Lawyers and Past President of Australian Women Lawyers. Additionally, she was an elected Councillor for the City of Glen Eira. As the founder and chair of the Tom Ashmor Foundation, she is committed to inspiring future STEM leaders among Australian children. In 2014, Kate established Ashmor Legal, where she and her team have reviewed countless Victorian property contracts and supported thousands of clients globally.
