Robert O’Harae

Robert O’Harae serves as Special Counsel and Practice Lead for the Wills and Estates Team. With deep expertise in Wills and Estate Planning, Robert is adept at handling complex personal and family business succession planning, probate, and contested Estate litigation. His skills extend to dispute resolution, offering sensitive and pragmatic advice tailored to each client's needs. Robert focuses on areas such as Wills, Estates, Succession, Commercial Law, and the structuring of ownership agreements. He began his career at Artemide, currently holding the position of Special Counsel, where he has been instrumental in leading key estate planning initiatives. Prior to this, he was a Senior Associate at Uther Webster & Evans for over five years, where he honed his skills in litigation and estate management. His earlier roles include positions as a lawyer at Gayle Meredith & Associates and Mills Oakley, providing him with a solid foundation in legal practice across various domains. Robert’s legal journey commenced with roles as a paralegal and seasonal law clerk at Mills Oakley, complemented by his experience as a tutor at the University of Technology Sydney. Robert graduated with honours from the University of Technology Sydney, earning a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, with a focus on Deceptive Trade Practices Law. His academic pursuits included studying at the University of Lausanne, further enriching his understanding of international legal frameworks.
