Amy Barwick is the Principal of Artemide’s Litigation Team, renowned for her vast experience in litigation and dispute resolution. With a career spanning several leadership roles, including as a Partner at major law firms and as General Counsel in an FMCG Franchised Network, Amy is celebrated for her pragmatic and strategic approach. Her tenacity and dedication have cemented her reputation as an exceptional litigator, effectively handling complex disputes. Amy's expertise encompasses litigation and dispute resolution, retail law and franchising, employment law, and insolvency. At Artemide Law, Amy leads as Head of Litigation, continuing to drive success since May 2024. Previously, she served as General Counsel at Sharetea Australia from 2022 to 2024, where her legal acumen significantly impacted business operations. Her tenure at Dentons, where she was a Partner, further solidified her expertise, preceded by roles as a Director and Senior Associate. Earlier in her career, Amy honed her skills at Mills Oakley Lawyers, progressing from Associate to Senior Associate over seven years, dealing with diverse legal matters including corporations law, insolvency, and property disputes. Amy began her legal journey as a Solicitor at Woods & Day Solicitors, followed by a formative period as a Law Clerk at Employment Lawyers. She holds a Master of Applied Laws in Commercial Litigation from the College of Law and graduated with first-class honours in BA LLB from Macquarie University. Amy's academic achievements complement her professional prowess, underscoring her commitment to excellence in the field of law.
