Kieran Abbotts

Kieran Abbotts, a dedicated solicitor, has deep roots in the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, a region he has called home throughout his life. He has worked in various locations including Tamworth, Taree, Forster, and Coffs Harbour, reflecting his commitment to serving local communities. Kieran graduated with a double degree in Law and Arts from the University of New England, marking the beginning of an illustrious legal career that has offered him diverse experiences. He has developed a substantial body of work in estate planning and managing deceased estates, which includes navigating complex estate disputes. His expertise in these areas has been instrumental in helping many families resolve their legal challenges efficiently. In addition to his work in estate law, Kieran also founded a firm dedicated to supporting survivors of institutional sexual abuse, highlighting his passion for offering support and advocacy to those in need. Throughout his career, Kieran has emphasised the importance of trust and understanding in the client–solicitor relationship. His approach combines a reassuring and compassionate tone, ensuring clients feel supported, particularly during difficult times. Known for his sharp wit and warm smile, Kieran brings a modern touch to the classic role of a country lawyer, consistently delivering friendly and reliable service. Currently, Kieran leads Abbotts & Co Lawyers as the Principal Director, a role he has held since January 2023. His previous experience includes serving as Principal Director at Just Law Group Pty Ltd in Coffs Harbour and as a solicitor at Bromhead Legal in Forster. He also has experience as a paralegal, which laid the foundation for his legal acumen. Kieran's academic background includes a High School Certificate from St Pauls College Kempsey and the completion of a Graduate Diploma of Practical Legal Training from The College of Law Australia. He also undertook a Practice Management Course there, further honing his skills in legal practice management.
