About Graeme
Graeme Peters has practised law since December 1981, bringing over four decades of experience to his role as Principal Solicitor. Prior to his admission, Graeme gained foundational legal experience as an articled clerk in a Sydney city firm and contributed to the Commonwealth Attorney General’s office, working in both the Family Court of Australia and the Federal Court. Early in his career, Graeme worked within a small city-based criminal practice, representing a diverse range of clients, before moving to a suburban practice in Strathfield where he served a broader client base. In 1993, after relocating to the Central Coast, Graeme became an integral part of the local legal community. By 1996, he established his own practice, which operates under the trade name Wyong Law since 2013. For most of this time, Graeme has worked as a sole practitioner, providing personalised legal services to his community. Graeme holds a Graduate Certificate of Dispute Resolution from Charles Sturt University, equipping him with advanced skills in mediation and negotiation to support clients in resolving disputes effectively. Beyond his legal career, Graeme is actively engaged in community service. He has been a member of Rotary International for over 30 years, having served multiple terms as President of both the Wyong and Erina Rotary Clubs, and is currently a Director of the Rotary Club of Erina. He has also contributed to the governance of a local private school, various community organisations, and registered clubs during his time in Sydney. Committed to philanthropy, Graeme participates in fundraising initiatives for charitable projects endorsed by his Rotary Club. Graeme enjoys a fulfilling family life on the Central Coast with his two step-sons, two daughters, and three grandchildren. He maintains professional memberships with the Law Society of New South Wales, the Central Coast Law Society, and Business Wyong, a local Chamber of Commerce representing the Northern Growth Corridor of the Central Coast.
