Chris Malfone is a Principal Solicitor and Director at WMG Legal, bringing over ten years of experience practising property and commercial law in the ACT and NSW. He has developed a strong reputation for his commercial insight and in-depth understanding of property development, construction, and complex commercial transactions. Throughout his career, Chris has advised on property transactions exceeding $1 billion, representing a diverse range of clients including private individuals, investors, sellers, buyers, and large-scale developers. His work spans complex acquisitions and disposals across residential, commercial, industrial, and rural sectors, including off-the-plan sales. Chris's expertise extends to commercial leasing across retail, industrial, childcare, and shopping centre sectors, as well as drafting and negotiating agreements for lease, joint ventures, and development partnerships. He also advises on business sales and purchases, including franchise and licensing arrangements, along with loan agreements, securities, and broader finance issues. Holding dual degrees in Law and Commerce (Accounting), Chris was admitted to practice in 2014 and is admitted to the High Court of Australia.
