About Bill
Bill Meredith began his legal career as a paralegal while studying law at McAuliffe Williams & Partners, a firm focused on commercial and insurance law. Upon completing his degree in 2001, he contributed to the King Edward Memorial Hospital Inquiry for six months. From 2002 to 2005, Bill undertook his articles of clerkship and broadened his life experience through travel to Africa and America, as well as working as a jackaroo at the Midland Cattleyards and Roy Hill station. In 2005, he joined Tait & Co Business Lawyers before moving to the Insurance Commission of Western Australia, where he played a role in the significant Bell Group case of 2006. Between 2007 and 2009, Bill served as the principal solicitor at the Midland Information Debt and Advocacy Service (MIDLAS), representing victims of domestic violence in family law matters and restraining order applications. In 2009, he founded WLM Legal as a sole practitioner, expanding the practice to Inglewood in 2015. Bill now frequently acts in complex parenting and property disputes in the Family Court of Western Australia, drawing on his extensive experience to support his clients with dedication and insight.
