About Tully
Tully Carmady brings over 20 years of experience in commercial litigation, practising primarily in the Supreme and Federal Courts. Throughout his career, he has appeared in numerous trials and interlocutory hearings, including applications for interlocutory injunctions, acting both as counsel and instructing solicitor. Tully is adept at commercial negotiation, often achieving successful dispute resolutions for clients through mediation, thereby avoiding the costs and delays associated with trials. He focuses on understanding the client's objectives and strives to achieve those goals efficiently and proportionately to the dispute at hand. While Tully has experience across a broad spectrum of commercial litigation matters, he has developed extensive expertise in disputes involving the breakdown of relationships between co-owners of businesses, whether structured as partnerships, companies, or unit trusts. He provides clear guidance through these often complex and sensitive matters, addressing competing views on contributions and expectations. Tully is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He currently serves as a Director of Williams + Hughes.
