Michael Evans

Michael Evans is an experienced litigation lawyer with extensive knowledge across a broad spectrum of disputes, including criminal matters, employment issues, debt recovery, negligence claims, insurance disputes, personal injury cases, contested estates, tenancy, and property law. He provides representation to a diverse client base ranging from individuals and small businesses to large multinational corporations. In addition to general litigation, Michael advises clients on various aspects of construction law. He assists with the everyday management of construction projects, including tenders, procurement, and contractual issues. Michael is proficient in resolving construction disputes through negotiation, litigation, arbitration, and both informal and formal mediation. He regularly provides advice on contractual matters and prepares claims, including statutory adjudications under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999. His construction law experience spans clients such as architects, surveyors, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, homeowners, and developers. Michael is also an IRO approved provider, representing clients in workers’ compensation and personal injury claims. He is adept at negotiating substantial settlements and successfully advocating in courtroom disputes when necessary. His advocacy extends to family succession, contested estates, and family provision claims, acting for executors, beneficiaries, and other interested parties to resolve complex disputes. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University and completed his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the NSW College of Law. He is recognised as an IRO Approved Legal Service Provider.
