Mai Lin Yong

Mai Lin Yong is a Senior Family Lawyer with over a decade of experience in family law. She began her legal career as a Legal Associate to the Honourable Justice Joseph Kay in the Family Court of Australia’s Appeals Division. Following this, Mai Lin completed her articles at a suburban law firm, where she practised family law, property law, and wills and estates for nearly ten years before focusing exclusively on family law. Mai Lin handles a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, property settlement, spousal maintenance, parenting disputes, and financial agreements. She is dedicated to providing practical and realistic advice, often collaborating with other professionals to address the unique circumstances of each client. In addition to her practice, Mai Lin has contributed to the community through her volunteer work and coordination role at the Darebin Community Legal Centre. She is an active member of the Family Law Sections of both the Law Institute of Victoria and the Law Council of Australia.
