About Greg
Born and raised in Adelaide, Greg Welden completed his primary education at Pooraka Primary School and attended Nailsworth High School. He graduated in 1993 and went on to study law at Flinders University. Admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 1998, Greg has developed extensive experience throughout his career. Early in his career, Greg practised in Port Augusta, where he gained comprehensive legal experience across various areas of law. In 2007, he returned to Adelaide and worked for both small and large firms, focusing increasingly on Estate Law. Greg now offers clients thorough knowledge in Estate Planning and Estate Administration. His expertise includes complex asset protection strategies, business succession planning, and handling intricate probate matters. He is well-versed in estate administration and litigation, including navigating inheritance claims and disputes over the validity of wills. Greg is an active member of the Law Society of South Australia, where he contributes to the Succession Law Committee. He regularly presents seminars to the public, community groups, professional organisations, and fellow solicitors. Additionally, he has authored articles for legal publications focused on estate planning. Professionally and personally experienced, Greg spent time living and working in Liverpool, UK, before returning to Adelaide. He is dedicated to his family as a husband and father of three. Beyond law, Greg enjoys music, often performing acoustic guitar, and has showcased his talents at events such as the Adelaide Fringe Festival. He is also a passionate sports enthusiast, with a particular interest in basketball, golf, and American football.
