Joe Meria is the Principal Migration Agent at Visa Pass Migration, bringing a compassionate and client-focused approach to migration services. Joe began his career in 2016 within the migration and education sectors as an education agent, assisting international students in taking their initial steps towards studying in Australia. This early experience sparked a genuine interest in migration law and a commitment to helping individuals and families build better futures. Before transitioning into migration law, Joe completed a Bachelor of Hospitality Management and a Master’s in International Hospitality Management. With over ten years of experience in the hospitality industry, he developed strong interpersonal skills and an ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds—qualities he incorporates into his migration work. To deepen his expertise, Joe undertook a Graduate Diploma in Australian Migration Law and Practice and passed the Migration Agents Capstone Assessment through the Australian College of Law. He is registered with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA, MARN: 2318205) and is a member of the Migration Institute of Australia. As the founder and director of Visa Pass Migration, Joe is dedicated to providing clear advice, practical solutions, and empathetic support throughout the often complex migration process. Drawing on his own experience as an immigrant, he understands the challenges and hopes involved and is committed to guiding clients with care and confidence at every stage of their journey.
